Since launching Edit in May, we’ve been taking onboard your feedback so we can add more functionality that makes your culling and editing flow faster and smoother.
Our latest updates bring a big improvements in Edit consistency, building your personal style, file management and much more. Here’s some more on some of those highlights:
Enjoy a significant boost in the consistency of your photo edits. Edit learns from your editing style and then using the context from every individual image, pre-edits your photoshoot just like you would.
With this update you can save even more time in Lightroom as Narrative now edits similar groups of images much more consistently, getting you closer to your final edit from the second you ship your selection.
We’re continually fine-tuning the Style Builder to make it even easier for you to train your own personal editing style, including a helpful review tab so you can see what you've selected so far and a 3 minute tutorial video to walk you through creating your style.
Easier Shipping Menu
Copy / Move files when you Ship
Managing files just got a lot simpler. You can now copy or move images to a different folder right from inside the ‘Ship + Edit’ menu. This lets you easily transfer files, ship them to your editing program AND apply your personal editing style all with one click.
Toggle Options: Leave all options on to move or copy your images while shipping them to your editing program with your editing style pre-applied. Or, if you just want to move or copy without extra actions, toggle off ‘Open in editing program’ or ‘Apply an Edit Style.’
Preview Styles from the Ship Menu
Not sure which editing style to go with? You can preview each one right in the Ship + Edit menu. Plus, you’ll get handy before-and-after previews for each personal style you’ve created made from the images you used to train that style.
We’ve also added support for a bunch of new cameras and file types:
